Terms & Conditions
By registering for a workshop, journey, private session, or other offering provided by Somatic Remembering (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
Somatic Remembering offers educational, experiential, and personal development experiences that may include workshops, group journeys, private sessions, practices, exercises, and other related offerings.
Our services are intended to support personal exploration, self-awareness, embodiment, and growth. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other professional healthcare or treatment.
You are responsible for determining whether an offering is appropriate for you and for communicating any relevant needs or limitations to us before or during a session.
2. Registration and Payment
Registration for a workshop, journey, private session, or other offering is confirmed once payment has been received, unless otherwise stated.
By registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to pay the applicable fee by the stated deadline.
Your registration or booking is personal to you and may not be transferred to another person without prior approval from Somatic Remembering.
3. Workshops & Journeys — Cancellation and Refund Policy
Because workshops and journeys involve advance planning, preparation, and limited participant spaces, cancellations are not eligible for a cash refund.
If you are unable to attend a workshop or journey, you may receive a credit toward a future workshop or session offered by Somatic Remembering, subject to availability and any applicable differences in price.
Credits are not redeemable for cash and may not be transferred to another person unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If Somatic Remembering cancels or significantly changes a workshop or journey, participants will be notified and appropriate options will be provided.
4. Private Sessions — Cancellation and Rescheduling
Private sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled session time without penalty.
If you cancel or request to reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment, the session may be considered used and the session fee may be forfeited.
We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen. In the event of an emergency, you may cancel or request to reschedule up until the scheduled session time, and we will work with you to reschedule your session when possible.
Please contact us as soon as you know that you cannot attend.
5. Late Arrival and Missed Sessions
Please make every effort to arrive on time for your scheduled session or workshop.
For private sessions, arriving late generally does not extend the scheduled session time.
If you do not attend a scheduled private session without contacting us, the session may be considered used and is not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
For workshops and journeys, participants who arrive late or leave early are responsible for determining whether the experience remains appropriate for them.
6. Participation and Personal Responsibility
Somatic Remembering experiences may involve movement, body awareness, emotional exploration, reflection, breathwork, meditation, or other experiential practices.
You are encouraged to participate at your own pace and to honor your own boundaries. You may choose not to participate in any exercise or practice that does not feel appropriate for you.
You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being during and after participation.
If you have a medical or mental health condition, injury, or other circumstance that may affect your participation, please consult an appropriate qualified professional before participating.
7. Not Medical or Mental Health Treatment
Somatic Remembering is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic treatment service unless explicitly stated otherwise by a qualified licensed provider.
Information and practices shared through our offerings are for educational and personal-development purposes and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please seek assistance from an appropriate emergency or healthcare professional.
8. Confidentiality and Respect
Somatic Remembering is committed to creating a respectful and supportive environment.
Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and not share another participant's personal stories, experiences, or identifying information outside of the group without that person's permission.
Please remember that while we encourage confidentiality, we cannot guarantee that other participants will maintain confidentiality.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by Somatic Remembering, including written materials, exercises, recordings, presentations, frameworks, practices, and other content, are the property of Somatic Remembering or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
Materials are provided for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially use Somatic Remembering materials without prior written permission.
10. Changes to Offerings
Somatic Remembering reserves the right to modify the content, format, schedule, facilitator, or location of an offering when reasonably necessary.
If a significant change affects your participation, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide an appropriate alternative when possible.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Somatic Remembering and its owners, facilitators, contractors, and representatives are not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or claim arising from participation in our offerings, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
By participating, you acknowledge that experiential and somatic practices involve personal responsibility and that you participate voluntarily and at your own discretion.
12. Technology and Online Sessions
For online offerings, you are responsible for having a reliable internet connection, appropriate technology, and a reasonably private environment in which to participate.
Somatic Remembering is not responsible for interruptions caused by technology, internet connectivity, third-party platforms, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13. Privacy
Any personal information collected through registration, scheduling, payment, or participation will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By registering for an offering, you consent to the collection and use of your information as necessary to provide the requested services and communicate with you about your registration.
14. Force Majeure
Somatic Remembering will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing services when such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, emergencies, government restrictions, power or internet outages, or other unforeseen circumstances.
15. Acceptance of These Terms
By purchasing, registering for, or participating in a Somatic Remembering offering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
